{"id":3439,"date":"2025-10-15T11:50:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T11:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esciencia.es\/?p=3439"},"modified":"2026-03-18T12:02:21","modified_gmt":"2026-03-18T12:02:21","slug":"steam-girls-day-haciendo-historia-en-nuestra-comunidad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esciencia.es\/en\/steam-girls-day-haciendo-historia-en-nuestra-comunidad\/","title":{"rendered":"STEAM Girls Day: making history in our community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>History was made this past 14 October with the celebration of the first STEAM Girls Day in Arag\u00f3n, hosted at the Faculty of Education of the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through games, challenges, and a variety of interactive activities, participants were able to learn about female role models in STEAM, as well as take part in hands-on workshops on gender and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its aim was to inspire, while also demonstrating that these disciplines are for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this first edition setting a precedent, it is expected to continue in the coming years, coinciding with the International Ada Lovelace Day, a leading figure in the field of mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sum of STEAM is only complete with them\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative was a project led by UNIZAR, in which we had the opportunity to collaborate.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Se hizo historia este pasado 14 de octubre con la celebraci\u00f3n del primer Steam Girls Day en Arag\u00f3n, acogido en la Facultad de Educaci\u00f3n de la Universidad de Zaragoza (UNIZAR).
