Over the past few days, we have been at the Palacio de Sástago as part of the 3rd Zaragoza Province Agri-food Fair, an event that brings local gastronomy—and the people behind it—closer to the public.
Over the course of four days, more than 20 organizations took part in a programme featuring an exhibition, workshops, tastings, live cooking demonstrations, and talks, all designed to showcase the products and producers of Zaragoza Province.
At Esciencia, we would like to thank all the participating organizations and congratulate the individuals and institutions honoured at the Zaragoza Province Agri-food Fair Awards:
- Innovation Award: the teaching staff of the Food Technology course Tecnología de los Alimentos from the Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Technology at the University of Zaragoza.
- Communication Award: El Gastrónomo Zaragozano.
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Aragonese Academy of Gastronomy.
The 3rd Zaragoza Province Agri-food Fair is an initiative of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, in whose organization and delivery we participated as a collaborating partner.
